Well, we leave tomorrow morning for Chicago. It seems like it's been a long time to be home for us, but the rest was very welcome. But....we are eager to get on the road again...we do enjoy traveling with the wonderful people that take our trips!
Our Chicago trip will include a ride on Amtrak tomorrow for our passengers and Donna. I'll take the motorcoach to Chicago and meet them at the train station. We'll enjoy a great meal tomorrow evening and then Friday we spend the day in Chicago, Shedd Aquarium, an Architectural cruise on the river, some shopping time on the magnificent mile, a dinner at the Walnut room in Macy's and a lot of fun in between. Saturday is spent at the Botanical Gardens, the Cuneo Mansion, Historic Long Grove and a dinner theatre.
It will be a great trip.
Also, I won't be blogging while on this trip. My laptop is at the Dr. for some repairs. Hopefully it gets back soon!
