We traveled to Teton National Park for a two night stay at Jackson Lake Lodge. The view from the dining room or the viewing area are magnificent. I've included a picture that was taken on the second morning----it is a special view! We enjoyed watching elk and moose from this vantage point. Our group also enjoyed a float trip down the Snake River. Eagles, Pronghorn sheep and spectacular views of the Tetons! Too bad we had to leave! But wait.....
Our next stop was just as spectacular! We arrived at Old Faithful in time to find a seat and watch this spectacular site. Then we had time for a stroll around to look at more geysers and thermol pools. A drive through the southwest part of Yellowstone allowed us many opportunities to see some of the beautiful colors that are a part of these natural "hot tubs"!
Tomorrow we have a step on guide who will be with us through out the day as we travel the northern part of the park.
