Seems it never rains in southern California....

What a great time to be in Southern California....it's below zero and they just had a blizzard in Minnesota!!!! We've had some great days in San Diego. With our guide we toured the area, from Old Towne, to the waterfront, to LaJolla to many other great sites. We spent a day at the Zoo, a day at Balboa Park an evening at the Welk Theatre, a stop at the Hotel Del Coronado, and some free time to just enjoy the beauty of the area. Our hotel is right near the waterfront and we have views of the bay. The USS Ronald Reagan was in Port when we arrived but today we notice it has set sail. This morning a whale came into the bay and the locals were working to get it back out to the ocean. Tomorrow we head a bit north...we travel to Annaheim through Mission San Juan Capistrano and Laguna Beach.
