soon time to return to Minnesota!

Had a great time in the Annaheim area.....we spent some time at the Richard Nixon Library and Museum----great information on our former president! We toured L.A., Hollywood, Beverly Hills with a ride down Rodeo Drive. Stopped at the farmers market for lunch and a few other stops along the way. Sunday we attended worship at the Crystal Cathedral and then drove out to the Queen Mary for lunch. On the way back we drove along the Pacific Coast highway. Last Monday we picked up our Palm Springs group at LAX, on our way there we stopped at Huntingtonbeach and walked out on the pier. Waves were rolling in pretty good and watching the surfers was a lot of fun. Our week in Palm Springs has been great. Weather, Sunshine and 85-90 degrees everyday! We drove up the mountains to Idillwyld on Tuesday, a beautiful drive and then some time for browsing in the shops there. Then on Wednesday it was a tour of the area and a stop at the Living Desert. Thursday was time for a Covered Wagon ride through thedesert and a cowboy cookout. Friday we drove to the high desert and a stop at Joshua Tree National Park---beautiful! Last night it was time for the Palm Springs Follies--what a hoot! Today we ride up the Palm Springs tram for a view of the valley from near the top of Mt Jacinto. Then on to a date farm and finally a comedian tonight at a local casino. Tomorrow it will be time to say goodbye to everyone as I take the group to LAX for their flight home and then I hit the road for home--weather hopefully on my side I will get home Wednesday!

It's been a great trip and a wonderful way to end a cold winter in the North!
